Jim Dine - was an icon of American Pop Art, DIne's Dada-influenced work combined household and found objects to create mixed-media collages or assemblages sometimes combined with paintings. Dine's work was included in the revolutionary Pop Art exhibit at the Pasadena Art Museum in 1962 with Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and other Pop Art pioneers.
In the 1970s Dine's style became more representational in etchings, print works and paintings. Born 1935.
