Libra This lithograph is from the Zodiac series of 50 printed on Japon paper. Dali was born on May 11, 1904 - not the typical stable Taurus. His interest in the Zodiac began in 1933 when a group of 12 art collectors called Zodiac, took turns supporting him for a month each in return for a work from his drawings and paintings. $1750 Salvador Dali was a major figure in the Surrealist Art movement of the 20th Century. He created works of art on paper in dry point, etching, woodcut, and lithography. As a result of widespread abuse in the reproduction of Dali's works it is important to be sure of authenticity when buying art.
