The Carmen Suite of lithographs by Salvador Dali is a portfolio of 25 lithographs after original gouaches and one of the most beautiful sets of graphics done by the late Spanish Surrealist. Published in 1970 by Shorewood Press the original portfolio is red with bold gold lettering and Dali in black..
Once you open the box you see pages of the interpretation of Bizet's famous opera that inspired this set as well as black and white images of all 25 pieces broken down into acts.
Once you go through this then you see the actual lithographs printed on Arches paper, all signed by Salvador Dali and numbered - my set is a collaborator’s copy and very rare. One image is more beautiful then the next. We do have some individual pieces for sale so please visit our web site at http://www.daliartweb.com . ENJOY!
